This 90-minute consultation for student and parent(s) will help everyone breathe easier and includes explanation of the following:

*This fee will be applied to Comprehensive College Counseling should you decide to move ahead with that service.

Rising Senior Application Package

The Application Package includes the following services:

​

  • Review and discuss the student’s academic transcript, activities, and experiences

  • Discuss goals for college including potential majors and other interests

  • Review student’s college list to ensure it is well-balanced

  • College affordability considerations and review of the financial aid process

  • Personal applications timetable

  • Guidance and critique for up to 10 college applications and corresponding essays

  • Advice on enrollment choices

"Bookend" College List   Package

A well-researched college list is everything! 

 

Prioritizing the student's college requirements such as academic opportunities and learning environment, college size, location, costs, campus culture, and other personal concerns, I put the puzzle pieces together to identify best-fit colleges for the student.

 

This stand-alone service is bookended by two (2) in-depth student/parent meetings and includes: 

​

  • Review of student's academic transcript, standardized testing, and extra-curricular activities

  • Discussion of student's educational goals, and wants & needs in a college community

  • Discussion of family goals regarding college affordability

  • Research and presentation of targeted "best fit" college list (approx. 15)

  • Advice for informative college visits and personal application strategy

Comprehensive College Counseling Package

If you're looking for pro-active guidance to take you from the initial college list to final enrollment, then comprehensive counseling is right for your family.

 

Beginning in the junior year, but may begin in sophomore year, comprehensive counseling begins with an in-depth family meeting, followed by monthly meetings with the student in junior year and meetings every other week beginning summer before senior year until applications are complete, as well as email and phone contact throughout the entire process.

Services include:

 

  • Academic transcript review and discussion of educational goals

  • Review and advice on extra-curricular and summer opportunities

  • Standardized test planning

  • Major and career exploration

  • College affordability considerations and review of the financial aid process

  • Developing a balanced list of “best fit” colleges

  • Preparation for informative campus visits and college interviews

  • Personal applications timetable

  • Guidance and critique for up to 10 college applications and corresponding essays

  • Advice on enrollment choices

  • Preparing students (and families) for what to expect during the first year of college
